And may the trash talk continue..........!

@ triplecrown-YES I did see HS girls playing for Sorcerer this weekend in the friendly. Sorcerer must not of been too confident showing up to the friendly with just 98 players.

I'm just curious, why can't highschool girls play Tb? Never heard of that.. I think smash pitcher a high schooler pitching. Used to be a monarchs girl I thought.

Not sure about the NCS as I know they start a little later than most Sections (IMO too late, as it runs past Memorial Weekend), so HS kids could possibly be playing still.

Now in the Sac-Joaquin Section, they have started and you will not see ANY kid playing TB that is playing HS from that Section.

Saw a kid from Sorcerer's hit one dead center about 260', not bad for a 13yr old

14's are tough age group to gauge in Spring with the HS kids not being able to play, and then before you know it, June rolls around and its ON!

All in all, i think the overall quality of play in the 14's is getting better and better in NorCal, good sign for the future.

That rule is obviously put in place to start arguments on the bucket.

By the way, I saw that hit to center/left over the fence myself. Really cool !

CC krush had some great hitters this weekend. Smash- Rios/Donny beat Sorcerers on Sunday. They looked pretty good. Nv Lightning has some big hitters, they look pretty solid this season. Grapes had some Good hitting going on as well.
looks like it will be a good competitive season!

I wasn't too impressed with Sorcerer team on Sunday. I would of expected a little more from the top Nor Cal team. They looked better Saturday.

Nevada Lightning always has a great hitting and competitive team.

Good ASA tournament coming up in a couple weeks in Lincoln with a lot of good talent. Should be interesting to see who comes out on top at the start of the season.

Smash-D beat Sorcerers? Now that one is a bit of a surprise. That's why I do things the TDFR way. To be the best, you have to beat the best. I'm not ranking anyone anything off of friendly results, but I'm also not crowning anyone the top team off of a pre-season poll that's influenced by parent votes.

Let these teams get their rankings the old-fashioned way, by earning them in tournaments.

Nice early showing by Smash. It looks like they are still bringing the goods.
No courage. No game.
