New Teams Forming
Just to set the record straight... The 2 coaches from Foothill Gold 98 did go to the Grapettes 14U along with 5 Core players. 8 of the 13 players left the team. The majority did NOT stay as stated above...

Like I stated before. Foothill is a great rec league for the foothill girls. Unfortunately, the Gold division is years behind. ALL of the teams that show any success are run off by a selfish Gold President. Who said inbreeding only happened in Arkansas?????

E.B. Vipers99 is another new team looking to compete with the top teams in the 12u this Fall and next Spring.

Just to "completely" set the record straight... At the Time of the original posting: 7 of the original girls from Foothill Gold '98 indicated their intention to stay with Foothill and not follow the coaches to the Grapettes. That is the Majority. Since then 1 of those 7 went to Bill Silvan's team, and 1 went to another team closer to their home "not sure which team". Utimately 5 "core" players stayed with Foothill.

Don't feel bad Foothill newbie. A lot of us were in your shoes before getting smart and leaving JD's Gold, I mean Foothill Gold. All I can say to you is that it gets better, WAY better!!!!

Considering that 8 of the original girls had no intention of following the coach to the Grapettes, I'd say that doesn't put that coach in the "good coach" category. And word is that coach did leave because he heard rumors he was going to be asked not no come back. Parents from that team have said it was the girls and the "numerous" assistant coaches who he ran off and the one he kept that made that team successful, the head coach just took the credit.
