Summer.....5/3/13

#1. FC98 Nor Cal = Stud players and coach.. Team is hands down the #1 Nor Cal 14’s team. . Great DEF and BIG Bats and Stud #1 pitcher. Playing 16's & Showcases all summer... Will need pitching depth to make those trips down south and at PGF...Good luck this season!!

#2. Sorcerer = Added new coaches and handful of new players since last summer team… Team has one of the top coaches when it comes to teaching and instruction in Coach Anthony. Team is loaded with the top Nor Cal 99’s and will dominate most teams for the next 2 years in 14’s. Very fundamentally sound team with great def and Stud #1 pitcher (#1 overall pitcher in 14's). Pitching depth and Big bats will need to be there for So Cal and PGF run this season. Good Luck!!!

#3T. AASA-Harrison = Stud coaching, strong core in place for a real run at PGF berth this summer. (3) #1 pitchers, good hitting team with solid player depth. Team will need to follow up last winning fall with consistency and beat top Teams this summer. Will play 16's all summer and showcase tournys.

#3T. Breeze98 = They are one of the top 98 teams by far ..Always loaded with talent and DM is guiding them for PGF Berth...Some player movement but landed another top pitcher. Very good team all around and will play anyone. Playing 16's and showcases this Summer. Pitching depth and beating the top teams will need to show up when it matters.

#5. SJ Lady Sharks = This team is most improved since last summer/fall. Team has had some player and coach movement. Team will play 16’s, So Cal and will compete for a PGF berth with a very progressive schedule. Big Bats and a solid core in place will keep this team competitive. Will need to beat the big dogs to move up....Let see how far there pitching can take them..…..Keep up the good work!!

#6. Team Cali 99 = Very good coaching and Stud 99's players. Top 14's (99) pitcher throwing HEAT (close to 60mph)...Older teams don't want to play them either. Will battle all year to be the top 99’s team... Best of Luck!!!!

#7. Grapes-Acuna = Always a well coached team with a core of Ballers in place. HS play has only helped return a better player for travel this season. Good def and solid bats are the strength. Team will play anyone anywhere. Pitching and depth will need to step up to play with the big dogs… Best of luck this season.

#8. RR GOLD99 = STUD 99's player with good coaching. Team has loss and added a few players for the spring/summer. This team will play anybody and everyone. Some concern with player loss that team will need to rebuild to play with the big dogs. This team plays much more than just RR tourneys....BIG BATS and solid def....Keep up the GREAT work!!!

#9. Valley Stompers = Top 14's coach by far. Team has retooled and looking towards a very competitive Summer. Team had a great Fall and looking to compete with the top teams. Solid pitching, def & Hitting. Coaching makes all the difference with this team. Best of luck!!!

#10. KG Hitters = Rebuilding is pretty much done and fast. Team has been winning this Spring. Great job Kiko and staff. Strong 99’s in place with a STUD 98 baller leading the way. They have also added some proven 98s to the roster. Team will compete with most, but pitching depth and bats will have to show up. Stud coaching will keep them competitive.

#11. USA Shockerz= Word is this team is loaded with proven 98’s and coach Tommy is very good. Would like to rank them higher but will need to see this team in action first. Team should crack top 5 when all said and done and will challenge for a PFG berth or ASA run… Good luck!!!

#12. Dirt Dogs: These guys are always scrappy and will come to compete. Very good pitching and dangerous hitters make this team always a threat. Good coaching with big strong players. Team will move up as summer goes on. Best of luck this season.

#13. Grapes-Krueg = Very good coaching with stud Vasquez and DM players on this team from last yr. Playing 16's and competing all Fall. Not sure what upgrades or player added, but looking forward to seeing them get better….Keep up the good work!!!

#14. Grapes99-Kapp = Solid young 99’s team with very good coaching. Team has had some player movement but able to compete and get better. Team will play so cal and took 2nd place at Force this spring. Speed and small ball are strength, but pitching will need to be there vs. 98s. Best of luck this season….

#15. Nevada98 = Very good hitting team and well coached. Team lost stud pitcher this season. They seem to want to play and travel to anyone. Not a whole lot of noise about this team this summer…. Will need to beat top teams to move up...

HONORABLE MENTION:

#16.AASA Norwood- Stud coaching and solid 99’s. Very hard working team….Pitching will be of concern.

#17. Cal Nuggets98- STUD Female Coach that knows what it takes to play at the next level..... NEW Team has good 98 pitching and solid players in place. Will need to compete to move up. Best of luck!!!

#18. Breeze 99- - Solid hitting, good defense and pitching. Well coached and will compete with all the others.

#19. Roseville Heat98- Always fields a good team, but hasn’t heard much from them.

#20. NV Rapids99- Great feedback that this team is winning vs. other 99’s and winning this spring. Keep up the good work.

#21. Lady Hustle 99-Husband and wife coaching 99’s this year. Played well in fall with 98’s on team, lets see with 98’s gone now.

#22. Sting99- very good young team with very good young talent. Team will move up as summer goes. Good luck!!

Not sure Lady Sharks are that strong. #1 pitcher jumped ship to Sorcerers to be #3 or #4. Go Figure.

Looks like all the big dogs are in Roseville this weekend. Whats your team doing hiding in Tracy? I didn't know it was a big recruiting time with super regionals going on, so weird time for a "showcase".

Im pretty sure no one is hiding due to the org event. Heck, no one 98 team has been talked about or been pointed out more here that AASA-BH.

More importantly let me ask you this question funpolice:

Super Regionals takes 16 D1 teams out of the "potential" coach/visitor pool, is that what you are going to build your case on against AASA? (only 15 of course if Louisiana - Lafayette wasn't on your short list of teams for your DD, lol).

Exactly my point, the problem is 99% of the hype has come from GT.
Read the rankings again, every team has a weakness or needs to improve to compete at PGF but AASA.
Where's the list of coaches attending the "showcase"?
