Looks like they are planning a trip to Hamet to test the SoCal waters. A pretty solid team up NorCal way but lets see what they do in SoCal. I think it's often said that NorCal teams don't have solid hitting up and down the lineup. This team is the exception. Pitching and fielding are solid and the bats can compete, but nothing matters until you do it on the field. Good Luck!!

I see that Kiko's team stepped it up even further and is showing they are playing 18's in R&R's Memorial Day Tourney. Are they playing 18's or 18G as it is a bit confusing when looking at layout. We did the 18 thing last year as a 1st yr 14 team and it was a mistake, we were much better off staying down in 16's as the quality of play in 18's (not 18G) was sub par. Its a no win situation as a 14 team playing 18's, you either go down in quality of play by playing 18's or get hammered by moving up to 18G.

Not sure playing 16u will be some great advantage for them, especially with 43ft pitching.

Where is TNT from and who have they played. Not sure why they are on the top 10 list. Is it an older 14 team? Are they playing in RR Memorial Day tourney???

TNT added to the mix as they are an older 14u Sac Metro team. Pure '95 with plenty of successful history playing the local contenders. They'll be at RnR over Memorial Day...

Im buying that TNT team, they have a lot of proven players from around the area. If they can get it together quick they could be a top team with a chance to win. They have some big bats on that team. Who knows though how that team will gel. Guess we will see this weekend. I have a bunch of teams on my radar this weekend to watch :)

In the 14u division the TNT team, Lady magic w/highschool players as they havent played well thus far, I havent seen the sting yet although I dont think they will be the best in that division. In the end as someone has mentioned it will get down to a 95 team in that division. They are just bigger/stronger and can generally mash, compared to most 8th graders. I have seen quite a few from the list, just want to see how they change with the older girls added. I have a couple friends coaching at 16/18u division so I have a couple from there that I am wanting to see. Great time to get the woman out and watch some softball all over Stockton/Manteca/Lodi. Dont watch much 10u/12u these days as most of the girls I know are older and moved up.

everybody is asking about the best team in this tourney.....well it very well could be TNT. 8 14u tourneys last fall six firsts, 1 second and 1 third. they completely dominated. they did enter a couple 16u's and got pretty beat up. they were young and a brand new team and played ok for being so young. the team was put together last fall so to place in all 14u tourneys is great. i will be watching them. they are older and all the girls made their high school teams with the exception of the 8th graders but hey are talented as well. so the talent is there and they are deep. i can't wait to see them play it should be fun.

I love watching good softball teams, and since they are probably one of the best of the 40 or so teams in this tourney, they should be worth watching.
