Anyone have any idea what is going on with 10 U metros this weekend. I see brackets out for 12,14's etc, but nothing for 10u's

We enjoyed playing your team this weekend. It's been a while, since I've seen your team play, and the first time our team has faced them. And although, I don't think our team faced your #1 pitcher, pitching was stellar. You're team appeared to have great chemistry and the girls were having fun and improved a lot since the last time I seen them play. Strong defense and big bats, with strong pitching... definitely a special combination. Hope to play you guys again, and give you a better game.

1- Breeze Lost this past weekend in championship game but still the strongest team.

2- KG Hitters Strong hitting and very strong pitching.

3- Fresno Force #1 pitcher makes the team strong. Good showing in last tournament.

4- OBS Monarchs Beat the Breeze this past weekend in championship game. Seem to be the most surprizing team of the season.

5- Smackers Very balanced team. Did not fair well in recent tournament.

6- Lady Spartans A well balanced team. Won consistently last year. Went 0-4 in Fresno for a very disappointing weekend.

7- Foothill Gold Good hitting older team. Seem to be a strong team but cant get over the hump.

8- Lady Venom - Strong pitching!

9- Dirt Dogs Solid team and getting better each week.

10- Salinas Storm - Big improvement this past weekend.

GSSA METROS 10U UPDATE:

1ST PLACE: BREEZE (5-0)
2ND PLACE: FOOTHILL GOLD (3-3)
3RD PLACE: OBS MONARCHS (1-4)
4TH PLACE: LADY SPARTANS (1-3)

Breeze and Foothill Gold both earn bid to ASA Nationals in Kentucky.

Head to Head:
Breeze was undefeated, played Monarchs once, Lady Spartans twice, and Foothill Gold three times.

Foothill Gold beat OBS Monarchs twice and Lady Spartans once, lost to Breeze three times last time in Championship game.

OBS Monarchs beat Lady Spartans once, lost once to Breeze and lost twice to Foothill Gold.

Lady Spartans had three losses, once against Breeze, once against Foothill Gold, and once against the OBS Monarchs and one win against OBS Monarchs in pool play.

Good luck to the Breeze and Foothill Gold, two very exceptional teams!

10U Norcal, Oakland, and San Joaquin combined Metro Championships update!
1st place-Norcal Smackers 4-0
2nd place-KG Hitters 4-2
3rd place-Hot Shots 2-2
4th place- Bears 2-2

All 4 teams earn bids to ASA Nationals in Kentucky.

Head to head:
Smackers undefeated, beat KG twice, Storm and Hot Shots

KG beat Oakland Impact, Hot Shots, Bears and Fired Up, Lost first game to Smackers and fought thru losers bracket to get eliminated 9-3 by Smackers in the finals(Smackers would have had to been beaten twice)

Hot Shots beat Strikezone, Fired up then lost to Smackers and KG

Bears lost to Fired up in their 1st game, then beat Strike zone, and Salinas Storm before losing to KG.

2. Nor Cal Smackers - Went 4-0 in Metro beating KG, Storm and Hot Shots

3. KG Hitters - Stumbled against Smackers in Metro and Fresno

4. Foothill Gold - Runner-up in Metro losing only to Breeze

5. Cen Cal Dirt Dogs - Making a late season run taking the Metro over Fresno Force

6. Fresno Force - Stumbled against Bakersfield Rebels in Metro

7. OBS Monarchs - 1-4 in Metro losing to Breeze, Foothill Gold and Spartans

8. Lady Spartans - 1-3 in Metro

9. Bears - 2-2 in Metro

10. Hot Shots - 2-2 in Metro
