Top 14U Norcal team

Got to score runs to win ball games and until a 14U team shows me they can score runs off the Sting Pitcher, they get my #1, Kiko included..

I agree, and I seem to remember this lowly team from Modesto scraping a run across the board against a UCLA bound pitcher to knock them out of the playoffs a short time ago:) So we could see something like that again:)

Having seen the 14U division quite a bit this weekend and having no vested interest (no kid in 14U) my rankings would be.

1) Sorcerers
--------------------------
2) Grapettes - CR
3) Valley Stompers
4) Fresno Force
5) TNT
6) Sting
7) Breeze 96
8) Breeze '95
9) Lady Magic
10) Storm

Im sure these will all change in 3 weeks when it really heats up. For some teams it was their first tournament so Im sure they are happy to just measure where they are at. A couple of teams I heard had only had a few practices together, so you could see some teams move around. Good weekend and I got a good burn :)

AASA has been playing short handed we have had some serious injuries and are just starting to get healthy, having said that we plan on being around late every Sunday.

Thanks Calply, we got one back late this weekend and hopefully getting one more back this weekend or next. All in all we had a total of 4 kids out around 2 months each and one will be almost 3 months

Hopefully they are back soon...... injuries kill a team.

We lost ss first thing Sunday morning to a ball in the eye. Praying she is OK and back soon. Sees DR today.

Interesting you include Breeze 95. They didn't even play in 14's this past weekend. I believe this is the first weekend they have played together. I guess you were out watching the 16's too. Lady Magic dropped down, i agree. AASA very poor showing past weekend, but looks like they are short players. I would remove them also. I would move Breeze 96 up.

1) Sorcerers
--------------------------
2) Grapettes - CR
3) SJ Sting - the team with "the pitcher"
4) Fresno Force
5) Breeze 96
6)TNT
7) Salinas Storm
8) Lady Magic
9) Valley Stoppers
10) Breeze 95

Did the Stompers not beat TNT??
I would put them top 3/ Force beat them with out a few of their girls 1-0 when they were still in the playoffs.

Also the LM is a little high.IMO

Grapettes
Sorcerers
Stompers
Breeze 96
top 4
Force
Sting
Close behind...

Need to see 95 play first to rank them
