Ain't that the truth, and it doesn't just apply to softball. If you want to play against the best in both volleyball and fastpitch, you pretty much have to move down to Southern CA, or at least play your summer tournaments down there. That's the only way you can sharpen your skills to compete against the best when the opportunity presents itself.

:!:

Sharpen skills,
Compete against the best,
Plan for those opportunities!

Enjoy!

Most of these rankings seem to have failed to include Central Valley teams ..

Confused as to how you can rank Sting or Lady Magic higher than Mortimer... Yes they are the 3 top 12u teams in Norcal. Mortimer rinsed Sting at Bat wars 9-1, and then wrecked Lady Magic 10 - 3 in the ship. Sting beat Mortimer in a scrimmage 3-2, but hasn't beat them since early Fall. Lady Magic is now .500 with them. Mortimer has only missed a championship game in PGF 3 times since the beginning of Fall.
Mortimer had 21 straight wins, 14 of which were at PGF before the loss to Lady Magic, including a 14u Ship.
Any given weekend one of these 3 will be in a Ship, but Mortimer has proven that they come out on top more often then not.
