Not a bad showing for California. The gap has definitely closed between SoCal and NoCal imo.

Arent 4 of those teams from so cal?

Gap closing....are you speaking about the San Andreas Fault?
Go take a look who's winning Nationals. If NorCal wants to close the gap they're going to have to win in atleast 1 age bracket.
Also if nor cal thinks their chasing so cal look again, competition is from out of state. Oh except for the so cal teams that are in top 5 routinely.

Open your eyes California the competition is from out of state!

Not disputing it's a good finish for those teams. With 80 teams in 14U premier and 35 of them from California would expect at least that percent of teams make it that far. But for the teams from Tennessee Atlanta Arizona texas really standing out because they have come in and are beating top ca. teams, placing top ten and winning! Could even argue debate that with so many California teams there should be more doing better.
More average isnt better.

You do realize that the Tennessee Mojo team was a team built on "Gun for hire" method? They basically pulled kids from all over the country to play in tournaments. I'm not even sure if they even had one practice together (not confirmed). The only team from your list that was "Home Grown" and a serious threat is the Arizona team. I believe they are all local kids they pulled together.

Good idea NorCal get your yoga pants committee to get coaches to work together and form a NorCal Alliance team that can win a Nationals.

The yoga pants committee would never allow it because its not inclusive, gender nuetral and the carbon footprint required to build a team as you suggest would cause sea-level rise.

The fastest path would be instead of Premier and Platinum, perhaps PGF should have a "Red State" bracket, and a "Blue State" bracket.

I envision at the opening ceremonies for the "Reds" you would have the heads of the NRA and an Oil Executive. While the "Blues" would have Al Gore and the head of Greenpeace.

This format would probably satisfy most people, and what does it matter anyway. If I had known about "sea level rise" 14 years ago, I would have steered my kid to water polo a sport that California still owns until Tennessee decides to build more cement ponds.

Announcing tryouts for Nor Cal Sweeps. We will be the premier curling team in Northern CA. The best part is, parents can set their beers down near the playing surface to keep them cold.

There will be no rule against parents coaching from the sidelines because none of us have a clue on what the rules are.

Parents should love this sport because it will prove their kids actually know how to use a broom. Plus Ghost=break every other tourney vs Rock with handle=well it’s a rock.
