R&R Memorial Day Tournament 10U

by norcaldude » Sun May 23, 2010 1:54 pm

It looks as if this is going to be the final big tournament up in NorCal. We can expect there to be a lot of good games that weekend. All the best teams from NorCal will be there ( RR Gold, CC Dirt Dogs, AASA, AA Mizuno and others). Lately there has been a lot of trash talking going on. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the teams record and the way the girls play is all that matters. After this tourney everyone will be getting ready for Nationals, TCS and Western Nationals. Good luck to all the teams next weekend and may the Best team come out on top. Let me know who your pick is to win the tourney.

Noone really jumps out at me right away. Anyone can win on any given day. Last time Grapes and RR played, Grapes pulled it out. Grapes have been getting better and won the last tourny in Reno. RR won the last tourny at SAC. Dirt Dogs got their 3rd base/Pitcher going now. Breeze is not in it. But I am going to have to go with the Grapes on this one. Very close with RR Gold though. ;) ;) ;)

Well, we will see than. Good luck to both teams! I hope they show us another great game regardless of who wins. I hope the fans and parents can accept it for what it is. Just a Softball game.

Actually, RR played Grapes twice in that tourney and couldn't beat them either time, both teams were one and done in Fresno being sent home by the same Socal team and both have won a tourney since Fresno. If your gonna run your mouth at least state all the facts.
Gotta give Grapes the edge due to the Head to head win. ;)

Let's show some of the other teams some RESPECT! When you start looking past teams is when you get in trouble!

The CC Dirtdogs have beat the Grapes and RR and are more than capable of doing it again.

Mizuno AA - Garcia always plays well and is capable of getting hot and running a tourney.

Have not played the East Bay Vipers but have heard that they can compete.

The 6 game format should favor the team with the deepest pitching staff!

Good luck to all teams this weekend! Please keep in mind these are 9, 10 and 11 year old babies! They deserve to be held accountable/pushed by their coaches and loved/supported by their parents! At the end of the day this is a GAME. Enjoy your children while you can cuz it will all be over before you know it!
