So glad the 14 Sorcerers parents are quiet now!

Kept hearing how great they are, then get beat by probably the most dominant 14s out there. I say that, because when you go down south and beat Myers 16 Batbusters team, then come back home to dominate? Tell me they aren't sorcerer fans. Notice their parents don't come on hear to brag about how good they are!! I'll brag for them.

With the exception of one of their pitcher's parents, there wasn't much bragging from them. If you go back and look, you'll see that the majority of the talk was coming from other teams.

Since you're a Sting parent, you know that your big strength is your pitcher who is clearly a game stopper and some speed from a couple of players. If the pitcher wasn't there, you'd still have a very decent team but not the winability level that she brings to a 14u game.

Sorcerers on the other hand have far more depth and consistency. The loss of their shortstop clearly hurts but they still have a team of hitters from 1-9 whereas Sting cannot quite match up to that.

In the tournament last weekend, who did Sting have to go through on Sunday to get to the Championship game? Come on - had they played 3-4 quality teams early on Sunday, pitching would have become a factor and things may very well have turned out differently.

The Sting 14u went to Socal 2 weeks ago and Beat Batbusters Meyers on Sunday. I have been saying for months that the Sting are as good as anyone, and with the most dominant 14u pitcher around..... that is tough to beat, no matter how deep your lineup is 1-9.


Now maybe some of the posters that were on here posting their rankings will actually know the Sting have 2 teams:)

I dont think they or anyone else was making some "Claim to fame."

And some people could care less about driving all that distance to say they did it and they beat someone down south.

Just doesnt really matter. I prefer to be in bed Sunday night, not driving home.
But whatever floats the boat for some:)
