Congratulations to TC for winning this one.

They took their lumps on Saturday and started Sunday in 6th seed, with the early 8am game time as their reward and they battled all day to the championship.

Congrats to Team California and Breeze 98 for working their way through the brackets to play a very tough fought game for the championship. Both teams were very well coached and looked as if they will be competitive with the 14U age group next summer.

I watched several games on Saturday and was disappointed in the play of the Grapettes teams and Breeze 97. Lady Hustle played will and they can hit the ball but lost to T/C on Sunday.

Just curious - what did you see with the Grapes and Breeze 97? Could impact some folks decisions heading into spring...

Breeze 97 needs better pitching and seem to be a little weaker from the summer. The Grapettes teams were being pitched as 2 of the better teams this winter but the coaches are very hard on their players and it showed as they didn't do well this weekend.

So coaches that are hard on their players makes the kids play poorly? I will have to remember that.
