Norcal friendlies

by 2muchparents » Wed Nov 16, 2011 7:59 pm

Would it be too much to ask that norcal gets it own friendly section by the end of the year? It's impossible to find any with the 1,000,000 that socal puts up every day. Would be nice!

There aren't that many teams, and most are arranged directly by the coaches with no need to post for more teams.

Maybe a slight exaggeration there 2muchparents but I agree with you. Very hard to get to the NCal friendlies sifting through SCal postings.

I would like to see teams play all seven innings and play double headers. I know it's not going to happen but I'd like to see that versus timed games.

I would vote for that. I, too, would like to see the kids play the innings and not compete against the clock.

I would like to see more for Nor Cal. We are in the central coast and we like going up north more than down south. No matter what way we go it at least a 2 hour drive. Teams up north are pretty good and we enjoy playing against them. We want to play more friendlies up north but it is hard to contact coaches.

That's my point thunder! I wasn't concerned with the teams that are putting on the friendlies as much as the teams looking to play on a given weekend. Just give us our own section and we will do the rest!

We have about 3 teams on the central coast so we want to play more. I know there is a site for up in the Sac. area but we are looking for teams in the Hanford - Fresno area. We would enjoy going up north and play the full weekend and have those team come down here to play.

Very simple solution. Get the coaches phone or email from Team's website and call or email about friendlies. I get them weekly. Not a very hard or exhausting task.
