Grapettes did not get any votes on the poll, I will add Stone to the poll, a few people have requested them.

Are you kidding me? Why would you include Mizuno Stone in the poll? Because the parents keep posting so the team will get some attention. I agree that they have won some tourneys, but never the big one! We all know that RR Gold, Mizuno (Garcia), KG Hitters (Tracy) and Team Extreme are the cream of the crop. Everyone else is battling for 6th place. 12U is wide open when the teams listed above are not playing. Stone could have been a contender but the Asst Coach has continued to push the best players off the team. Daddy Ball at its best. The sad thing is the Head coach lets it happen. Only time will tell.

I couldn't agree with you more 2face. I watched mizuno stone play in the fall and they did not impress me at all. I have also watched the Grapettes (NORWOOD) play and from what I can see they are HORRIBLE compared to her teams in the past. Lots of rumors that Norwood's assistant coach and team manager is the cause of a lot of turmoil that has happened on the team. Looks like two years in a row the head coach has lost control of her team. I guess we will see what happens when the ones causing all of the drama on the team have to move on and find a team next season. Grapettes Kappmeyer seems to have a pretty good group of girls and coaches.

Seriously??? Why do some of you have to be such haters? Team members who have left Mizuno-Stone chose to do so on their own accord. The coaches have done their best to make the parents AND athletes feel like part of the team. And unlike other unmentioned teams I have never witnessed any "daddy ball". Players are utilized where they are most needed and are capable of handling at the time. The assistant coaches DO NOT have a say where the players play. Only the head coach does and his own daughter does not even play that much! Wow! It must suck to have so much hatred inside your heart! And get your facts straight!! Mizuno-Stone DID win a tourney in winterball 2face!

Sorry opinionated, I will have to agree with 2face on this one. From what I have heard Stone is a great coach, but he seems to let the "opinion" of his asst get in the way of what could have been a great team at one point. Also, if you look at what 2face said in the post he did give Stone credit for winning a few tournaments. I think what he meant was they didn't win any that included the "top 12's" in the area.

I don't think any of the above hate the team. It seems like it is targeting the one assistant coach on Mizuno Stone. I probably agree with them since I know of a couple of real good players that have moved on to other teams because of this situation on Stone. Just saying....
