(this is a Yes or No question, not looking for verbiage)
At this point I am left to assume that the host of asatournaments.com, who is now a 10U coach with Mizuno, will take the time to slot Mizuno teams where it is in the best interest of Mizuno until this is answered OR until a schedule comes out that contradicts it.
I wont imply anything shady is being done, I just want to know if we can expect to see Mizuno in pools that protect the organization when coming to your tournaments. The initial weekend supports this, I sure hope it does not continue and this was merely coincidence.
in 10U, only 2 pools, Mizuno in each pool (listed as 1st team) path doesnt have each other in the way
in 12U, although Stone and Garcia are in SAME pool, 1st, 2nd and 3rd all make it to Gold and 1st wont play 2nd or 3rd until final. Garcia listed 1st. The other Mizuno team in 12U, also listed first is in a pool with no other mizuno teams.
in 14U there is only 1 Mizuno team (thank god)
Obviously I am a big fan of what Gary has done in the past, but this new affiliation really puts my caution flags up. I will watch closely and be sure to report additional substance should it be positive or negative on this subject.
Am I the only one with this concern?
I don't know one Mizuno team from another. If people are shopping around for a coach for their daughter, are they going to take note of the fact that when Mizuno plays Mizuno, Mizuno always wins?
Are you going out to the games this weekend? I hope to be able to.
