Three or four will play with the Fresno Force. A couple will play with the Dogs 14U team.
One kid will play with the Firecrackers in La Marida. Not sure about the rest.
The team had some major head coaching issues.

Seriously... what percentage of teams DONT blow up? The teams that stay together with very small turnover is far fewer than those that dont.
Coaching these teams is not easy, and knowing a thing or two about the game doesnt mean you can coach a team.
Hell, 50% of the people in the country hate the President, which should be a position of respect. A poor travel coach has no shot:)

No surprise here.

I agree with you Iluvblue about coaching being very hard, but some coaches make things far more difficult on themselves than they things need to be.

Typically, parents ruin teams. The girls just want to play. Sad but true.

I'm from Central Cal. The problems here aren't any different than anywhere else. Other than the talent pool is pretty small. Parents can ruin teams in Cent Cal or anywhere. Because the talent pool is small here. you either put up with it, leave for another local team who may have the same issue or go south. (some have gone north)

I agree with you, but do you think they do it on purpose? Or maybe they just dont have the skills needed to do that job.

Some people are not meant to be in management, and they may be a darn good worker, but you put them in a position of decision making and authority, and they will tank.

Same thing with coaches. I think all coaches TRY and do a good job. They just dont know how to do it, and they dont know how to handle the many situations that arise throughout the course of the season.

You have to have a clear understanding of what you are doing, and you can not leave any ambiguities when dealing with your parents. Honestly, I dont blame people for team shopping. There is a lot of CRAP out there, so why stay.

Wow, that sucks! they had a good little team. Best of luck to all the girls.

I agree with the prev post, parents need to sit back and enjoy watching our kids play. They have blessed with ability to play a game they love. We as parents should not get in their way! IMO

I do not think the problems were intentional, as you said, not everyone has the skill set to manage a team. That being said, the reason you have assistant coaches is to utilize their skills in areas you need help. This did not happen on this team and the teams performance over the last two years is the proof.
