by Gottaluvit » Thu Sep 26, 2013 4:47 pm

I just got some info that was exciting. I heard that the Central Cal Dirtdogs are expanding in the spring to the Sacramento/Folsom area. I dont know if its all ages but I think its at least 12U. I was told to email questions to Norcaldirtdogs01@yahoo.com. Very cool!!!!!

Not sure why this is exciting or cool, but why not....... let's bring in more teams to water things down in NorCal.

I meant it more to say their is to many 12 teams in Nor Cal in general. Especially with only a couple upper level 12 teams.

Has anyone emailed to see if they are trying to start a new team or is a team changing names and picking up a few girls?

From what I hear it's supposed to be a new 01 team but is there really enough talent out the for another 01 team?

Old Man (love that username!!), the answer to your question is absolutely not. While I am in favor of giving young ladies an opportunity to play travel ball, the number of 12U teams in the Sac area is out of control. There are only a few (a small few) really competitive teams, and there certainly is not enough talent to keep adding team after team.

I completely agree. There are maybe 4-6 competitive upper level and then the rest is filled with the rest I think. Their is way to many teams
