Where are all the teams that traveled to Las Vegas, you spend a lot of your parents money for what? What was your record who did you play and what were the scores?

I'm not sure about Sunday but on game changer the three teams combined won one game out of nine. KG winning one over Utah.

looks like no cal didn't do to well in vegas curious to hear which so cal teams they think are the best. according to the bucket the 3 top 10u teams were in attendance or actually the top 5 teams were. if any coaches or parents want to weigh in it's always interesting to hear 10u is getting so competitive it's unbelievable

I am waiting to see a 10U team hanging profiles on the fence. Player X GPA is 5 gold stars, velocity already in the 60's pitching.

ASA Spring Fling 10U was won by Cal Breeze 03. On sunday KG made a good run. Clovis, TC and AASA had another good showing. Smackers and FG were out early. Clovis is a team on the rise having two solid weekends at ASA tournaments. Well coached team.

After seeing a lot of this weekends games up in Lincoln, this is how I would rank the 10's to this point.

1. California Breeze
Two good pitchers and hitting has improved.

2. KG Hitters
This team can definitely hit. Pitching is ok at best.

3. Nor Cal Dirt Dogs
Beat KG Saturday but couldn't win when it mattered on Sunday.

4. Clovis Rockets
Had KG down on Sunday but could not finish. Decent hitting and pitching is very average.

5. AASA
They have a lot of work to do to catch up to the top of this list.

Just my opinion, subject to change being we are only two tourneys in.

Must be an AASA Honk!! Team California beat them 10 - 0 on Saturday. They beat an NSA "B" team first game on Sunday and lost to the Breeze the next game. The Breeze took it easy on them winning 5 - 0. Top 5, PLEASE!!!
There are many teams out there that are in the same situation as KG. Great hitting when on a roll, but missing that shut down type of pitcher.Fired Up comes to mind as well. That team lives and dies by there offensive output and whether they can keep the opposing team from scoring too many runs. They have a lefty power hitter, #23, that hits "Moon Shots"! The Breeze are on top until someone can knock them off. The rest are going to fluctuate depending on the weekend. JMO!

Really? Is it necessary to call out teams like this at 10U?

it looks like at least 2 of the top so cal teams are headed to fresno a month away from some good softball and to see where teams measure up to bad more so cal teams aren't making the trip

You are absolutely right OTW. Just trying to make a comparison between two different levels of skill and ability. I was pointing out where that particular team usually plays. I applaud CVS for going and playing the best competition in Norcal! Definitely will make their team better! Someone out there considers AASA to be the fifth best team in all of 10U Norcal!! Does OTW agree with that assessment?
