I would say the teams to keep an eye on would be the same teams from fall with a few added to the mix. Adding Salinas Storm in the top 5 discussion would be a start. From what I hear Team CA has made some changes that should make them better. NC Firecrackers lost a few pieces but added a few from what I've been told. Foothill Gold lost #1 pitcher and center fielder but picked up 2 solid players. Lions are looking for addition by subtractions from what it looks like. But the keep core just like Firecrackers( Lady Spartans). Monarchs stayed intact for the most part. Not sure about some of the others. But good luck to everyone and the only way to find out who's the top dog is to play it out on the field.

Hello my softball piers. I am the Roadrunner from Cen Cal. One team to watch for is the Madera Lady Venom. Credentials: Defeated '01 and '02 Force teams and Team CA. In December LV picked up four solid players to bolster their team. Dozerdog take a look at them and let us know what you think. Remember you heard it first from the Roadrunner. Always good to see some new faces. The only reason i mention Force and Storm is they play up here a lot. Do you guys plan on playing in NorCal? Any news from any friendlies out there? Saw a lot of rust on teams in Stockton.

I would like to say nice catch (no pun intended) Pdad about pier vs. peer. Nice to know someone was reading with interest. As for the Venom playing up North yes they will be playing up there on Memorial weekend. The Lady Venom team is traveling to Temecula in February, Vegas in March, The Force Classic in April, and Roseville for Memorial Day. As for friendlies the Venom, Force, and Dirt Dogs all have friendlies scheduled. The Venom have one this weekend in Madera. The 411 for the upcoming 2014 year is that some of the Force players went to the Dirt Dog team. Again you heard it hear first from the Roadrunner.

This weekend Force, NC Firecrackers(Spartans), Storm and Monarchs are playing a friendly this weekend. I guess we will see you in Vegas Roadrunner.

Some good stuff today in Tracy.
Storm 3-0. This team can flat out hit! Looking good right out of the gate.

Firecrackers(Lady Spartans) 2-1. Same as usual just a solid team.

OBS Monarchs 1-2. Can play better than we saw today. Will improve but got in some good work.

Force 0-3. This team is much better than they played today but its early.

Good games in general. Good work fir some good teams.
