NorCal Top 12 u teams???
Exhibition games are over. What are the rankings? From my point of view these are the strongest teams out there..... Am I missing someone?

Where do you rank these teams?

My youngest has decided to take some time off from softball this spring to enjoy being a kid. That said, I will not be around to rank teams. but I will be here to read and laugh at the bucket. Hopefully someone will actually put some thoughts into this and give some real feed back on why they place teams in the order they do.

I would say looking at some of the top teams schedules this might be hard to rank. It appears that the Firecrackers and Monarchs are planning to play 14s as much as 12s locally. This next weeks Vegas tournament will give us a good idea on how good some of these teams are. But for now I would say that Storm-J would get the nod since they won the toughest 12s tournament of this young season. It looks like 1 local tournament that could answer this question on who is the top team could be the RR Gold Memorial tournament that has, Sting,Storm,OBS,Force,Firecrackers and TC as of right now. Just need a few more of the teams on the list you put on here to join and we can find out on the field.

1. Salinas Storm (J) - why.. (t4) of 16 in 14u Mizuno Challenge & 6-0 first tourney.
2. OBS Monarchs (C) - Top 8 of 26 in 14u RR Gold Tourney and always a solid program
3. SJ Sting - Real good team, but they have only played in friendly’s that I know of.
4. LTG Lions - 2nd place to Storm (J) in last tourney 5-6
5. Fresno Force (R) - (t5) at the Huntington Beach Classic and (t9)on 2/15, but hey have not played my top 5 yet. Still like them more then the next 5.
6. CenCal Dirtdogs (H) - Unable to find tournament information for 2014
7. Foothill Gold-01 - Lost to LTG Lions 1-2 (T3)
8. CA Breeze-01 - Lost to Storm 5-3 (t4)
9. NC Firecrackers - No update yet
10.Team California - Adding them because they beat Fresno Force (S) 6-3 & AASA (R) 2-3, but lost to Storm (J) 3-6.
11. AASA-Richardson - Lost to CA Breeze in pool play then lost to Team CA 2-3 in the Gold Bracket

I believe all will be in Vegas except LTG.

I wouldnt disagree with much except, you have Firecrackers way to low. I would put them in the top 3. They have the biggest hitting team I've seen. Other wise glad to see someone take a shot at it.

AvgMoe, good try and no offense but how can Cen Cal Dirt Dogs be 6 and FC 9 if you have no info? They might be #1, who knows but we need someone with a little more knowledge giving us some insight. I also can't put much weight on someone who tells me the final score was 1-2. I vote for Dozer.

I like the list. This early in the season its all pretty much a guess as of order of the ranking.

Wooooo! Hold on..... I totally disagree with the rankings already! There is no way Salinas Storm should be No 1 please redo....there are better teams out there right now.... Do I think Storm can be ? Thats our goal! But we got alot of work to do....

My vote is Dozer! Spit those rankings buddy.... My feelings won't be hurt .... I'm going to the dance ....

But its nice to see these teams being competitive! And pressing to become better athletes. I think all these teams are good!
Some teams are 1-3 players away.... (Including mine)
