Does anyone know the 14U results of this past weekends R&R Gold tournament?

Lady Hustle - Mattos went 6-0 or 7-0, and took the tournament. Not a huge amount of competition but still took care of business. Team appears to be mix of core 12's who aged up for Fall along with quite a few 2nd year 14's. They should get tested next weekend at the Elk Grove tournament which will have much stiffer competition.

R and R may get around to posting results as soon as they get caught up. The championship game that was scheduled for Sunday at 5:00 P.M did not start until after 8:30 P.M. It was after 11:00 P..M. when the brief ceremonies concluded. I may be mistaken, but heard Monarchs played 7 games games without a break on Sunday to make it to Semis.

The Monarchs team which is Norwood and has girls from last year's Grapettes Guevara and AASA Norwood were battling it out. I'm not sure about the 7 games, but it was a lot. Yes, the game ended after 10:30pm, Hustle waited 5 hours to play in the championship game against Hotshots. Hotshots 14U is a newly assembled team with 2-3 16s playing down. Score was 4-2.

Wow that's crazy to have the girls out there that late and all day even if the next day was a Holiday. I haven't seen RR Gold post real time scores in any of their tourneys. They have a big showcase tourney this week it seems for 16s/18s with over 50 teams + their 10-14U tourney. Wonder which fields they'll stick the 10's, 12's at. I'd hate to be apart of that mess.
