The best 12u team in norcal is Breeze 03. Dont have a kid on the team but its gonna be fun to see what they can do in spring, summer against so cal teams and other top orgs from other states.

There isn't to many 10U tournaments in the fall but the two I know that have been played were won by Cal Breeze and Dirt Dogs.

Breeze 03 is the 12U team to beat! They have super coaching, great pitching and catching, great hitting, solid defense and team synergy. LTG is strong, and AASA Garcia, CC Dirt Dogs Kubo as well as Universal 03 are good too!

At 10U CC Dirt Dogs 05 are the cream of the crop!

Moosemcnair,
For 10u, you meant NorCal Dirtdog '05 or
CC Dirtdog 05?
Is any of the above team can play at higher level with SoCal '05 teams?
Thx

Not sure, I think it's CC Dirt Dogs, but might be NORCAL. The team I am talking about was at ASA Fall Classic in Roseville. They were only listed as Dirtdogs 05. While it was a very small tournament, Universal 10U and Cal Breeze 10U were in it(I think these are the better NC 10U teams). Cal Breeze beat the Dirt Dogs 05 on Sat. 5-0. Dirt Dogs beat Universal 8-2 on Sat. and then on Sunday Universal beat Cal Breeze, but fell in the Championship game 18-3. I was told by some sources that were at the game, that the Dirt Dogs team looked good with pitching, hitting, defense and coaching.

I have attended a couple Cap sports tournaments this Fall, watching my youngest(2006) guest pitch for a team and have not seen any 10U teams at these tournaments that did not have 12U's playing down, that were very impressive to me.

Our 10U Smackers team(very young) has played a couple friendlies and there I haven't seen any 10U power houses either!

Maybe someone in the know can confirm if the Dirt Dogs team at the Fall Classic in CC or NC?

Swingman,
I assume you are the coach. Just want to pick your brain:
How u r going to make sure that your girls are ready to play against SoCal elite teams?
R u plan to play 12u in NorCal in spring to get experience to see faster pitches or travel to SoCal quite often?
If anybody has suggestions please feel free to express your opinions.

Playing 12U is a slippery slope. The bigger ball and the 5' added to the distance isnt going to help your pitching out. Neither is seeing a ball coming in the mid to low 40's from 40' going to help your hitting when the drop back doe to 10's. It'll look a whole lot different coming from 35'. But, that's just my humble opinion.

Big Baller you are correct not a lot of good playing up to 12s as a 10s team. Playing up as 12s to 14s can be helpful. Just my opinion as well.
