Based on a recruiting perspective in the Pitcher battle, there is a big difference going to Florida versus Michigan, the win says it all, as it does every year when it comes to the schools making it to Oklahoma... Just Sayin, you get what you pay for!!!

Hmm, interesting perspective... using OKC as a barometer, all the kids going to Ivy League schools must be total losers. Poor kids.

Actually his post doesn't even make his point, considering the winning pitcher is going to Stanford, not Florida. And I'm pretty sure Michigan has more national titles in softball than Stanford, and Florida for that matter, so... what was his point, exactly

The point is Rico got outcoached yet again and failed to use his pitching staff intelligently in a game he should have won.

I did notice some rather large jewelry on one of the biggest fans on the cracker side today. Looks like maybe at least one ring was made.

Last 7 are - GA Force 97, Impact Gold, MN Renegades 97, Team AZ, Team PA, TN Fury 97 and TX Sudden Impact.

I dont know those teams outside of Team AZ. I have been familiar with the two GA teams that were at PGF since 12U ASA in Bloomington. I have seen TC Smash play a few times this year and was impressed with their coaching staff and how these 98s played their hearts out.

Watching these non SoCal teams give the locals a run for their money made this seem more like a Nationals than last year. Hopefully it encourages a few more to give PGF a try.

Couldn't agree more! This will definitely help PGF get away from the idea that it's just a western regional. Now they need to get more of the eastern teams to come.

My point was real easy to understand, so before everyone goes ballistic, Both Organizations are the best in the country, but I was discussing the two pitchers that started the game.
Florida versus Michigan, Florida wins 9 out 10. Michigan is in the Big 10 and it's been pretty weak for years and dont know if it's changing anytime soon....
So Cal wins, because of coaching and knowing when to go from your #1 to your other #1, where Rico rode his entirely too long! So Cal can play long and short ball, unfortunately Rico's best is the long ball, short game isn't their specialty. Once again, JMO!
