More qualifiers shouldn't be a concern. I am sure PGF knows what they are doing, all the big names should get invites. Why? because they are names. If they are good enough, and most are, they will qualify. If not, they wont.If you have all the top programs there then everyone else will want to qualify so they can go to Nationals with all the big names, which makes PGF Nationals the best tournament of the year. Disagree, playing the top teams is what makes PGF Nationals a great tournament, not playing big names.TCS invites every team from organizations they choose so it is what it is, everyone will have their own opinion. TCS is not promoting themselves as the best of the best, apples and oranges comparisonNegative opinions will obviously come from teams that dont get invitesNot true, my daughter's team was one of the invitations. Earning something based on what your team accomplished is more satisfying then relying on the past successes of others. Some, that didn't get an invitation, could say that people defending the practice are apart of the marginal teams that were given an invitation that they may not really deserve. Blanket statements like that or yours aren't very often accurate though.
