When I say the only team playing a double header, I mean in our age division. When PGF saw the Vegas forecast for record breaking heat, they changed the schedule to accommodate for it. So instead of out team playing at 8:00am and 10:00 am, we played at 10:00am and 12:00pm. Thank you, that was very helpful.

Did you get a berth?

PGF is suffering from growing pains in my opinion. There are going to be bumps in the road as I am sure there still are with ASA. Outside of So Cal, it appears that all the tourney's are run by local TB orgs. So you are probably only as good as the amount of skill of the local TD. As PGF continues to grow, more oversight will likely occur. Overall, our experience has been good with the PFG qualifiers.

I just need to vent and say how disappointed I am of the PGF organization. First, we got rained out of an out of state qualifier that could have easily been postponed as the forecast was grim at best. Next, we go to a qualifier in the middle of the desert WITH NO SNACK BAR or a warning to teams about this lack of preparation. Then, we go to another out of state qualifier with record breaking heat and we are the ONLY team to play a DOUBLE HEADER. I hope this organization looks to improve itself because as it stands, they appear to be terribly disorganized. The girls health and well being does not appear to be a consideration.
