After three wins in the NEWMAC conference playoffs, she now has the NCAA Div III record for wins(too bad two of those wins were against DD's team 
)

Considering she was also recruited to play D1 in the SEC, her success at Coast Guard, while commendable, doesn't come as a surprise.
Expect the freshman now pitching for Tufts to have a very successful career as well.

Would agree- saw her last summer(played for CT Eliminators and then this spring- she has nasty stuff- surprised she did not wind up on A Div I team(Ivy or patriot)- their catcher (soph) is also a GREAT player

Feindel, who missed 16 games this season with the broken finger, finishes her magnificent career as the NCAA Division III all-time leader in wins (124), strikeouts (1,457), innings pitched (1,029.7), games (160) games started (156), complete games (140) and she is second all-time with 62 shutouts. She has a career-record of 124-30 with nine no-hitters and a pair of perfect games.

Softball - Coast Guard Retires Feindel's #16
Hayley Feindel became the first Coast Guard player to have her number retired.
For the first time in school history, the Coast Guard Academy will retire a uniform number as senior All-American softball pitcher Hayley Feindel's number 16 will be retired sometime during the Fall it was announced last night.
Feindel, who missed 16 games with a broken finger and still led the Bears to a third straight NEWMAC tournament championship and fourth straight NCAA tournament appearance, led the conference with 21 wins and 251 strikeouts. She was 21-10 with a 1.80 ERA and nine shutouts. She also earned a spot on the NCAA tournament All-regional team as she posted a 1.69 ERA and snapped No. 2 Eastern Connecticut’s 40-game unbeaten streak by pitching a shutout during the regional.
Feindel will be featured on WFSB 3, the Connecticut CBS affiliate, tonight at 5:30 p.m.
