I was just looking at AZ Wildcats roster, how in the world can a team like that only have two pitchers. I bet Sam can tell us why

Local news says 75 degrees tomorrow. Staying at a golf resort for $50/night. Of course I don't golf. Nice to see the kids again. Should be an interesting weekend.

Reporting from Tempe ...

This was a Theresa Wilson issue. Although, AZ is going to struggle building a staff. Letting 8 players go this fall will make a lot of people think hard about taking a no-money offer at AZ.

I didn't know he cut 8 I thought he only cut 4 and wasn't one a pitcher?

From all the working stiffs who can't stay at a $50/night golf resort and watch great college softball in 75 degree heat because we have to work...We are envious Purple Squirrel! (I guess they don't have green squirrels in Pennsylvania)

Uno, you may want to add "State" to your 1st post. Seems those people in Tempe are picky:)

While I would love to blame Wilson for the pitching situation, this is all Candrea. He is a 2 pitcher coach- one stud, one up-and-comer. Evans/Finch, Finch/Hollowell, Hollowell/Mowatt, etc.

What I don't get, is that his system keeps biting him in the rear but he KEEPS doing it. Why? You are Arizona. Plenty of awesome pitchers would play there and yet he keeps with the same strategy. I know it used to work out (Evans/Finch/Hollowell), but surely T Mo, Williams, and Fowler situations would have taught him a lesson.

But I guess he's doing ok ;)
