Cal A's beat Peru 11-0 to go undefeated in pool play. The team begins double elimination bracket play with 2 games on Friday.

Team USA beat Puerto Rico 8-0 and Australia 7-0 to go 3-0 in pool play

Calif A's beat Team BC Canada 1-0 0n a 6th inning home run and will play a second round game this evening against White Rock Renegades Canada, who beat St Louis Extreme 8-5.

Erin Wesley pitched 5 innings and Blair Luna pitched the final 2 innings for the combined shut out victory.

A's beat Canada White Rock Renegades 9-0 in 5 innings and advance to winner bracket semi finals... play winner of China vs Great Britain tomorrow at 6:30pm

Vickie Glasso... Idaho
Jenna Rubio ..... Fullerton
Melissa Davin... Tennessee

make the all tourney team.... selection criteria is based upon pool play numbers.... odd since tournament still in process

What about your pitchers??? I would think all of them would deserve to be on it. You guys have been dominating!!!

They gave pitcher award to China since she (1 pitcher) carried all of their innings and we have been spreading the wealth (4 pitchers)..... like i said, odd giving awards when works still needs to be done (championship TBD). The critertia to achieve all tourney status was based upon pool play... 8 pool games.... batting average, stats & pitching stats

Although the A's staff has only allowed one earned run in 59 innings none of pitchers had the minimum innings needed to be considered. Enjoying the luxury of good hitting and mercy wins :D

A's beat Great Britain 5-0 and advance to the championship game tomorrow afternoon at 4pm
Great Britain will play the winner of the China vs Mexico winner at 2pm Tomorrow. Blaire Luna pitched the complete game for the victory.


Mexico was up 5-1 but China scored 6 to take the lead mid way through the game.... before we left the ball field.

No if game..... so championship game is for everything....

Congrats to Kathy Miller and the California A's team for winning the Womens Elite Division and going undefeated. Awesome job by the players, Coach Speedy, Crystal and the rest of the coaching staff. We were cheering for you guys back home in Socal.
