Winter battled her arse off for ND, but OU is the softball version of the 27 Yankees. They do not have a weak spot.

How does Coach Gasso get all these California girls on her team?

I know Coach Gasso is from California but what brings these girls to OU?

Are these girls second rate Cali players with a chip on their shoulders for getting past up by UCLA, ASU or Arizona? (If so I'm glad)

I know Keilani Rickett's sister Samantha played for OU so I guess this helped her make her decision but what else brought these players to OU?

I noticed they have seven Freshmen this year from Oklahoma. I hope this works out for the future but this year it is the Cali girls that are carrying the team.

BOOMER SOONER!

Second rate? Lauren Chamberlin was OC Player of the year in 2010.

Coach Gasso knows how to recruit the Cali girls better than anyone. Ricketts wanted to go to UCLA, but, UCLA passed on her for someone else. Big mistake.

If you were referring to some of the West Coast coaches as second rate, we may be in agreement.
