Actually at 10-0 at the bottom of 2 makes it look like a short night for Penn.

Did you hear them talk about what the Penn girls are doing next year? Med school, law school, etc. etc. A short night for Penn...

We played with a very young select program that made gold only a year before we played 16U. Our program had some great players, one now playing pro fastpitch, another one who will be drafted as a pitcher, and a couple more next year. Our 16U coach always said, those who have played on the big stage have a huge advantage over those who have not. Every time we went to Nationals, we finished higher than the year before.

Penn has never played in the current format NCAA tourney. They are a much better team than they showed tonight. You saw Harvard beat Texas Tech and give Washington a solid game after a second appearance in a row. A&M was a very tough draw even though they are ranked 16. Texas would have been easier even though they are a 4 draw. I think Penn and Borden could have kept this game in check if they could have kept those nerves in check.

The A&M girls could have been a little kinder to the Penn girls- the TAMU girls may be interviewed for their 1 st jobs out of school by the girls they beat up on tonight.
