Thinking we need the MLB pitching square up for analysis, seeing a lot of balls a 34" bat can't reach being called a strike in a lot of games online and on TV. Time to hold these umps accountable and properly critiqued and graded, not a fan of a 30" strike zone!!

I think I heard a new term, "bitch-played", from one of the announcers when ESPN did a live look-in. Ball got past a VT OF'er when she came in on a low line drive at her and got caught with an in-between bounce. Announcer was kinda excited when she said it, so I think it just slipped out...

Florida State 5 Mississippi State 2
FSU scored a run on a crazy D3K play. Pitch clearly bounced and catcher just rolls ball away without tagging the batter. B-R hesitates and then runs to 1B. The MS coaches come out and call their players off the field, so the B-R then runs around the bases and scored.

Texas 5 Army 0

Great game by Army. Texas scored 3 runs in the 1st inning after umpire missed CS call at 2B that would have been the 3rd out. TX pulled Luna after 3 innings to rest her, so relief pitcher got the win. I always enjoy seeing our military academies represent themselves well.

Great game between Tennessee and Alabama tonight. Chavanne and Tarango had a killer defensive play and game winning hit, respectively.

I think the Lady Vols got the toughest draw, having to face the defending champs. Getting the first game was huge!
