DD's school offers very few classes that meet on Friday, this kept the number down, but she still missed 10 or more classes for games in the middle of the week.

No classes on Friday for my daughter- players schedule morning classes in season and travelt time/distance is minimal for them.

I have heard some schools offer priority scheduling for student-athletes

How would athletes get schedules that would work if they don't get priority scheduling? That's one of the best benefits of being a student-athlete. I am not aware of schools with athletics that dont offer priority scheduling.

No priority schedules for athletes at dd's school. Most students have Friday off

So how are they able to clear time for practice - or do yall have indoor practice facilities so you can practice late ? Never seen those but I have heard of them.

Practices are in the afternoon when there is a lighter class schedule. Not uncommon for girls to come late to practice or leave early. Class is the priority

The priority - which is why the athletes get priority scheduling.

Which it were the case, but a dd's school seniority is the only priority for scheduling. Athletes to not get any extra priority
