NESCAC Championship starts today at Williams College Host Williams(MA) plays Bowdoin(ME) while Tufts(MA) plays Middlebury(VT)

Williams beats Bowdoin 6-0 in game one

Yep, Williams gets a grand slam in the 4th and another HR in the 6th. Bowdoin threatened early but couldn't push anything across and once Williams got the lead, their pitcher retired the last 10 batters in order.

In the night cap, Tufts beat Middlebury 7-0. Close game until the 4th when Tufts loaded the bases. MIddlebury had a chance to get out of the jam with a potential 5-2-3 DP but threw the ball away and then the flood gates opened.

Williams v Tufts tomorrow. We'll see if Williams can make it three in a row over Tufts.

Middlebury beats Bowdoin 2-0 Bowdoin season is over

Williams beats middle bury 8-5. Williams plays tufts again tomorrow

Williams lost to Tufts 4-1 yesterday before eliminating Middlebury. WIlliams batters had some quality at-bats vs Fournier but couldn't string enough together. The lone run was a solo HR. Tufts had a big 4th inning helped along by a couple of a walks and a timely big hit. Rematch today. Williams has to win twice to claim the 'ship.
