2014 NCAA DI Softball Championship Selection Show

The 2014 NCAA Division I Softball Championship bracket will be announced Sunday, May 11, 2014 at 10 p.m. ET on ESPNU. The NCAA Division I Softball Committee will conduct selections for the 64-team field which will be selected from 283 NCAA Division I institutions sponsoring the sport of softball. Of the 64 teams, 32 teams will receive automatic qualification with the remaining best 32 teams selected on an at-large basis. Sixteen teams will be seeded and each of the seeded teams will be placed at one of the regional sites. For tickets, broadcast times and more information, visit NCAA.com/WCWS.

Hey Uno I was watching with disbelief when I saw that 18-40 record too 
It did keep me glued to the TV checking out everybody else's record though

I find it interesting/disappointing that the NCAA solved their dilemma of which team to put in the tournament from the 6-7-8 finishers in the PAC 12 by not putting any of them in.
Utah with a 31-24 record and finishing 6th in the ridiculously deep PAC 12 should have been included IMO.

At each campus site, a four-team, double-elimination tournament will be conducted and the 16 winning teams advance to the Super Regionals.
