A few obvious ones, like:
Players cannot use a bat with a barrel that is yellow or non-contrasting to the ball.

Another blue protecting new rule:
Coaches and players may not question the strike zone or any call based purely on the umpire’s judgment. Questioning will result in a warning, and any subsequent violations can result in ejection.
Oh waaaa! Big boys can't handle girls questioning their competence, so they have to refine the rule
Here's an idea: call a better game!

Exactly, call a better game, heck even learn all the rules. . But we are going to have to , as coaches , TDs, etc. demand more accountability from associations who hire proven incompetent umpires.

Do not confuse the NCAA with ASA NCAA rules comitte is controlled by Coaches and Ads-not the umpires. The Umpires work for the conferences and follow their lead. Perhaps the coach were tire of a small minority of their bretheren arguing every call and trying to intimidate the Blues. In my DDs conference their were 2(out of 10) that were downright annoying that argued EVERYTHING and just drove everyone crazy with their Whining
