And... clustering trips is, of course, very advantageous. On our first trip to the right coast we hit 7 schools, 1 camp, talked with 4 coaches. We did it in the dead of winter with a rental 4WD that looked like it went through WW3 by the time we were done. But... there is NOTHING like a real visit and leveraging the plane flight costs is a big deal. The perspective shifts after a visit are amazing. The questions DD asked after the 3rd or 4th school were also interesting; more direct, more content oriented, more effective. Try to go when school is in session... It's almost impossible to hit two camps on a one week trip but hitting one and visiting several other schools within a 200 mile area has proven advantageous for us.
