16u vs 18 Gold

I have a multi pronged question

With all other things held constant..... Does 18 Gold or 16u teams get more attention from Colleges?

If you answered 16u.... What would be your choice if both teams were in a well known well established organization BUT the 16u coaches were inexperienced at recruiting?

and the 18u coaches had no daughters on the team and BOTH 16u coaches had daughters on the team?

1. It does not matter if the coach has a daughter on the team or not. If the team is good and the coach is doing his/her job the team will get looks.

2. 16u will get more looks now but you have to be on the right 16u team. Plus the same as 1. coach needs to be doing their job. Talking to recruiters & getting on the right fields.

3. Write letters and despite what anyone says go to the camps of the schools your DD is interested in & make sure you keep sending them your showcase schedule. Pretty sure recruiters are interested in kids that are interested in them.
