I love the kool-aid line. How original – never heard that one before. I am sickened by this mob-mentality. The “Quick honey - grab the gun and lock up the kids!” attitude. How about if instead of jumping to hysterical conclusions we allow Chris the opportunity to defend himself. Remember – there are TWO sides to every story, have you even trid to find out his side? How about if those of you who no nothing about Chris or TNL stop and talk to those of us who do? Rather than bashing Chris and us, why not find out more info first.
Let’s have a little bit of a reality check here, your daughters are on a field w/multiple other teammates, several adult coaches, adult umpires and with parents sitting in the stands watching. Do you really think your daughter is any danger whatsoever? Chris is sitting in the stands with a group of parents and can’t sneeze without everyone watching his every move. Tell me again where the danger to your daughter lies? TNL parents are like all other travel ball parents, dedicated to our girls, working our butts off to give them opportunities and ever so protective of them. We would not jeopardize our daughters or yours. This mass-panic needs to end. Calling us names, threatening us and trying to destroy our organization – let’s all take a step back here and get a grip on reality.
Second, if you believe that everyone who has ever been brought up on charges is guilty then perhaps you should talk to Cynthia Sommers, Dale Akiki (sp??) or Stephanie Crow’s bother. Innocent people ARE arrested, tried and charged. Period. Whether they are statistically equal to those who are guilty or not is irrelevant. Chris has every right to defend himself and be treated innocent until proven guilty. The judge did not order him to sit in a bubble waiting for his court date – he is free to live and coach while he has the opportunity to defend himself. The imitations put on him are by those who buy into the fear the media spreads. Do you really believe everything you read in the paper or see on tv? We all know the media sensationalizes and twists things around to sell papers and get us to tune in. Look at the celebrities, built up just so we can tear them down. That’s what we love to do here isn’t it, tear down people and make them suffer. Destroy one another so we can feel bigger, better, more worthwhile. Do you really believe that 17/18-year-old girls always tell the truth??? Teenager girls can be mean and vindictive – I know, I used to be one. They don’t get their way; they feel slighted or jealous and then they spread lies and gossip. Anyone who has teenager girls or has been a teenage girl can attest to the fact that girls can be malicious, vindictive and manipulative. We all have high school stories of being hurt by someone we thought was a friend but turned on us.
Lastly, Softball Jerk, you are clearly someone who has it out for us here at TNL. I find it interesting that you hide behind your anonymity while constantly pointing the spotlight at Chris, TNL parents and the board. Why hide? Since you seem to be proud of your distorted and inaccurate information about our organization – why not just come out and tell us who you are? Oh and by the way, Jerk, it’s my understanding that the court records are sealed - so if you have access to them why don’t you share??
