Anderson Bat co. Rochet techs and TechZillas

What's on your mind?

by NumeroUno » Sun Apr 27, 2008 7:36 pm

We tried out the new TechZilla this weekend in Fresno. The new Green Machine is top notch.

The TechZilla seemed to have just as much pop as the old Rocket Techs but all the girls that used it thought that it felt lighter than their own bat.

I am a big fan of the Rocket Tech but I think that it takes a couple weeks to get use to the swing weight of these bats. If you swing a balanced composite and you switch over to a Rocket Tech or TechZilla give it a few weeks and a few hundred swings off the tee to get a good feel for this bat.

For all you Stealth and Synergy lovers what are you going to do come July 1st 2008?

Well, I bought my Daughter the TechZilla Saturday morning in Fresno. Anderson had a tent set up. Anyway, I let all the girls swing it off the tee to break it in. At first, it was a thud. After about 50 hit balls, the sound changed. Broke in quick. Anyway, my Daughter is the lead off hitter for us. First at bat of the game, she hit a homerun. She also doubled and tripled with the TechZilla. She has been swinging a 32 RocketTech. She says this bat feels alot better to her. It has Rocket Tech pop, believe me!! And, it is alot more balanced than the tech, and 1 ounce lighter. This will be the hot bat..........

Okay before you all think Nzane is stretching the truth which I know he never does, I jumped park to park all weekend. I went to where the 14's were playing and met one of the parents from Victory. He told me that Nzanes daughter hit a bomb with the new TechZilla :D

and yes it does have a short break in period

You mentioned to me you were going to try it out as well...how do you think they are Numero Uno?

Funny followup on Thayne's daughter's shot...(nice bomb)...I had literally just asked "Mrs. Thayne" what it cost...Bang...ball goes flying...without a beat, she tells me, and adds "worth every penny!".... :D

The bat is great, when they first started to hit it I did not like the sound and it did not seem like it had pop. Then the sound of the ball coming off the bat changed and the bats was good as Gold or should I say green.
It is a great bat, Anderson did it again

Yea, at first it was a dull "thud". But after about 50 tee swings, it became a "ting". This bat is gonna be hard to beat.......

Believe that's when the new performance limitations on composite bats will be implemented.(?)

I think thats when they have to stop shipments of composite bats. They will be "Grand fathered" for 2 years........
