well we went last year. opening was a parking lot for a couple of hours. main fields were average at best. the other fields some of the worst ever played on, they may have had the oldest backstops i've seen. one game a day was not worth it.
i like the city but not play ball all week.

I like where this is going. Start it up...I'm thinking expense account, paid vacation, bonus incentives, and would a matching 401 be too much to ask. On second thought, I do like the shirt they let me wear and the priviledge of having their DD. Maybe just a card then...Hallmark though, (when you care enough to send the best).

Our team is planning to attend the National tournament in Panama City this year and I need your help. We are in the process of trying to get an estimate of the cost per family to attend. The entry fee is $600 and does anyone know if umpire fees are included? I can't find anywhere on the USFA website where it states yea or nay, and I can't get ahold of anyone on the phone. If they aren't included does anyone know what the umpire fees generally run? We are a 12U team if that makes any difference.

If you want to stay at a place like Grand Panama Resort, expect to pay $1500 - $1800 per family for the week. Wnder why USFA did not answer your other questions, but trading pins would cost a team of 10 for 50 each about $1500.

We will be attending the tournament and we estimate for a family of 4 it will cost about $1500 if you do no fundraising and that is with putting 2 families in each condo.

OK Mark which question do you wnat answered "A" "B" i have answered that a hunder times on here i personall kicked 5 10U teams to the "A" last year and we still had a 10u play in our "B" state that won the ASA "A" State. they also complained about the "A" teams in our "B" State. At least I was told that dont remember who that was.

We went to USFA with the TPS back in 2007,i think it was, It was loads of fun. It was also our first true national trip. Our group of 10u had 18 teams, 3 non houston. Fields where terrible, compitition good,opening day good,fun for family unmatched. We stayed at Moonspinners condo. one of the older ones, $1500 for my fam of 5. Great place still reccomend it. It is located at the end of the beach front which allowed for areas less crowded. We had 11 players at the fundraising alowwed $1600 for each. I thought that was outstanding.
As a 12u DD's team (Fury) qualified for ASA Nats, no comparision.everything better. Compitition is the best in the country, fields outstanding, places to stay left a little to be desired and cost somewhat less.
