Lady magic 3. Sorcerers or grapes that's my top for but watched the stars this weekend, they looked good. Sting is still trying to get it together. And you can't forget that it's way to early to pick a #1

Where did the period fairy go and why does it hurt so much to read this??

That's kinda like you having the grapes #1, but they did beat lady magic 1-0 if you consider them a b ball team and it wD a good game

Played the Salinas Storm last weekend at BLD. This is a well coached solid team. Far too often we at HB tear down teams that are not our own. I'd like to take a moment to commend these young ladies for their effort. Its always nice to see the game played the right way. Alot of solid teams in Norcal this year. Storm will be right there with Sorcerer, Sting and Grapes come championship play.

:D This is from someone who has played for and against the TOP 5 Teams
I don't understand what "STYLE" said but I do agree with arunner.
but Judging by what "STYLE" said The "STAR'S" are a wanta "B" Top 5 Team.
and playing against "B" TYPE teams will prove they belong in the Top 5 Hee ! Hee!

From the look of things, it seems that not much is separating the Sorcerers, Sting and Lady Magic. I would have put the Sorcerers on top but they lost their speedy centerfielder/leadoff hitter. Don't know much about the Sting but it sounds like they made some of improvements and brought in a fireballer. Lady Magic didn't really make any changes with the exception of bringing in another catcher from CC Comets.

Surprise team may be the Breeze '97 team, added CC Comets top pitcher from fall season. There's also the new StikeZone team (formerly NorCal Outlaws) coached by Rick Robben (Sorcerers). Lineup stacks up with anyone top to bottom. They have some real talented players but needs another top caliber pitcher to be mentioned with top teams.

Should be an interesting season. Can't wait to watch these teams play!

Was able to confirm that info. Looks like Sorcerers have all their key players that did very well at Western Nationals last year and added some few other upgrades for depth. On paper, may be the team to beat. We'll see...stay tuned...
