The old head coach won alot of big time games. 5th at ASA A Nats in 10U along side our Houston TPS was the best showing for Texas. Then they go to Southern Nats last summer with new guy with 8 teams and fall flat on their face. Same thing is about to happen to this guy as you mentioned the Sweet Gold parents are bad news. What goes around comes around and its coming around now!

TPS 97 was the fishizzle. Houston finished well at ASA 10U. Red Hots and TPS97 and played very well.

I will agree with you the Redhots did play well that year in 10U but TPS and Glory played better. Both were one run away on the final day from playing in the top 4. Back then TPS and Glory were neck and neck, as I stated in previous post now more of our Houston teams have surpassed Glory and Fusion formely Elite.

Your theory is interesting.....but who eliminated Texas Glory & TPS that year at ASA Nationals? Who eliminated the Red Hots? Just curious?

TPS lost to OC Batbusters and Team Smith Blue knocked them out, Glory lost to Corona Angels and GA Impact 97.

1. Team Smith Blue
2. Corona Angels
3. OC Batbusters
4. GA Impact
5. Glory
5. TPS

Redhots and Elite I think were tied for 9th or 13th.

1. Team Smith Blue
2. Corona Angels
3. OC Batbusters
4. GA Impact
5. Glory
5. TPS
7. Red Hots (also finished 25th in 12U last year)
7. ?
9. Elite
9. Sweeet Gold

Texas finished with 5 teams in the top 10.

These teams have all change faces, new teams have been added to the mix and Texas will be well represented again this year in 12U.

David Alan Coe said it best, "If you're big star bound let me warn you it's a long hard ride."

Approximately 80 Teams have the same goal as you do...

Good Luck to everyone!

The other 7th place team was Valley Tribe from SoCal. THe TPS game with TS Blue if memory serves me was very close as was the Valley Tribe game. I do not remember any huge errors on TPS but I do remember TS Blue making a huge base running error at the end of the game that almost sent it into extra innings. I could be wrong though. So Did Glory get the Bid to HOF this year?

Thanks OCWMom... I knew it was the Cali Maroon and Gold team, but couldn't remember Valley Tribe.

Also, as it relates to 12u Nats last year, OCBB Snow, CA-Lockman and GA Impact finished 17th and will be returning this year.

I believe there were other first year teams as well...

Again... Good Luck to everyone...

TPS beat Glory every time they played, they also beat Sweet Gold every time.
