Mckinney Mothers Day Tourny--- TX HEAT 1st --TNT 2nd --

by Reality Check » Tue Jun 01, 2010 12:03 pm

It's funny how one misguided post from Rookie seems to give a green light to softball4all to show his ass. The truth of the matter is that most parents and coaches realize that the Boombah team is in need of a few players. Rookie's statements do not represent the entire team. Get over it. On your end, though, there's clearly some resentment towards Boombah. Is it that you want to break the team up so you're team can pluck some of the players? Either way, you're showing yourself to be a complete idiot. You might think that you're hiding behind your screen name, but you're not. Keep posting that you have a bracket pitcher for pick up. Pretty soon you'll start to believe it yourself. I think you should schedule a game between your daughter's team and Boombah and see who prevails. Hopefully, you'll put your dd on the hill that day.

Reality Check,

If you are talking about me this applies to you and if not oh well.
I don't know who you are talking about but I don't hide behind screen names nor have I ever posted anything on the bucket about boombah, just read it until now because it sounds like you are talking about me and my child. If you have something to say to me say i will be at the next tournament y'all are playing at with our inferior team WOW great way to talk about girls who are trying their hardest every weekend just like your team is. Do not disrespect my dd again she took enough of that while she was with dnd thats why we left. Its really sad that you are doing the same thing you asked the bucketheads on here not to do to your team, that you are doing to an 11 year old. WOW!! Boombah good luck too ya its not my fault of the rookie mistake or even the boombah bashing this is my 1st and hopefully my last post on this site lots of fun to read but most of the posts on here are brutal the jerry springer site of softball. My kid has worked very hard to become a bracket pitcher and is a better player now. She is not the best player and not the worst she is right there in the middle and so is our team we our not inferior. If the day comes she pitches on the hill that day <seeing how theres no hill> we will see what happens. The boombah players are good players with alot of talent and sure there better and that fine with me. I have no ill words to say about these girls or y'all wanting to be consider one of the best teams in DFW. Hey if y'all can prove it like nike said just do it.
We don't have to post anymore for mound time we get plenty. I also have no resentment towards your team again good luck and have a wonderful day

Best Regards
Toby

From someone on the sidelines I find it really funny that so much is talked about this Team Boombah. When really there's nothing much to talk about. They've placed in a few tournaments and lost a few, BIG DEAL. They are IMO and many others who follow DFW softball just another team B team. Which is not a knock, but there are probably 10+ more like them. The fact that a parent (obviously Rookie) was enthusiastic about the early success, in fact bragging is pretty much on par with alot of the other talk here on HB. Who cares, they can't be excited about their kids? If you care that much to reply with such bitterness, it only feeds into more Boombah talk. When my DD played I never witnessed such anger and animosity as seen here.

We will see if they survive and develop into a top-contender or fizzle out into non-existense. But do you really care that much? Softball4all I'll answer for you...yes. Play ball, be supportive of your own DD and quit making it personal.

Since I honestly don't know you, Toby, and you are not softball4all, then how could the comments be directed to you? I'm sorry if you mistakenly thought otherwise. You made me realize that I had sunken to the same depths as the clown who started this. I have since edited a portion of the post.
The comments are directed for softball4all, the very one who thinks he needs to make team Boombah the center of his frustrations. Rookie makes a premature comment in everyone's eyes, and plenty of people corrected his error in assessing the team. Furthermore, I agree with every one of them. Boombah is a B-team trying to get better. And that's fine. I, unlike a few other parents, do not define myself on how well my 11-year old girl's softball team performs. Nor does it define the wonderful girls on the team. Every one of them is working hard, and trying their best. What more could be asked of them? Their every shortcoming does not have to be highlighted from some panty waste. The continual prodding and poking from softball4all is uncalled for. He needs to focus on his own team affiliation and quit highlighting faults in others.

Reality Check,

I just wanted TEAM BOOMBAH to know I am not this person who is trying to trash them and put them down. The softball4all is a really sad person who should focus on their team. The reason I posted what i did was some of the comments made on this thread sounded like they were talking about me and my dd and I just wanted to put an end to it. Good luck to y'all.

Best Regards

Well said, Toby. I appreciate your words of encouragement. It's a shame that there are people like softball4all who are nothing more than pot-stirring, pathetic scum bags who use 11-yr old girls to perch their soap box on. He'll get his in due time. In the meantime, I wish you and your dd great success and lots of fun on the diamond.

Trouble in Paradise... with Boombah. There was real DRAMA IN THE G.P. VTD QUALIFIER. My friend(s) from that team tell me that its on the verge of blowing up. From the bracket pitchers Dad who RUNS it from the other side of the fence. But who seems to have already made plans to join another team in the fall. Could Mizuno or D-Bat be the recipients?? Although neither team seem to be needing the "missing Boombah player" to complete their quest in A ball domination. To multiple key infielders players leaving or about to leave. The fact is that parents have made mention that until the DADDY BALL is removed, the team will never move forward. So when you see postings that the team is "looking" take that with particular caution. Sad to say, since from what I've seen and been told that they have potential to be a top B team. In fact they have 3-4 players that really need to be playing on a more competitive team. But they can't move past those road blocks like DADDY BALL and parent interference untill then. Why am I posting? I have no ill will towards Boombah itself. Ive made no personal remarks about any of the girls on the team. My DD's team plays them regularly in tournys and have yet to lose. But I also have friends on the team and ya, quite frankly I wish that 2-3 of them would see the light and possibly join us. Or find a team that is progressing and "without the drama." So don't reply unless you are from Boombah, which I doubt you will hear any argument from a Boombah parent.

If the pitcher mentioned is who I am thinking about, I would agree that the dad is the problem. I would take it a step further and say that he is not working in the best interests of his daughter. That is a very strong statement to make so let me qualify it by saying, if the pitcher in question is the one with the bad back, I feel sorry for her because her dad is hurting her. I saw her pitch in Mansfield last year in 10U, it was an extra inning game in 100+ degree heat, and in between pitches she had to stretch her back out and was crying. This broke my heart and made me question the parenting skills of her dad.

Like I said though, I am not sure if this is the pitcher you are talking about but if it is, I feel sorry for her because her dad is not being a good parent.

A ball domination? That's good stuff.
Oh and by the way, team BOOMBAH doesn't want any "wanna be shortstops", only real shortstops. Fake shortstops need not apply.
