High School Ball

Hey Watcher: Is your team in the Marmonte League? If so I know who she is, and the team could have really used her this year.

I am not sure they could have used her at all, That team does not need another sub 100 batting average or another PIA sitting on the alloy. Yes, They need to come together as a team, But a cancer on the team is not missed by "any" of the remaining girls.

So the season is coming to an end and yes, banquets are being planned, all league voting happening...sigh.

Guess you need to be a pitcher who never pitched once during league and batted in 3 games (.206 avg) or a 2b in 3 games that can't figure out that you need to actually cover 1st on a pick-off (.166 avg) to make all league.

Oh well. Had to vent. Travel starts again this weekend and the letters are going out again this weekend too. Time for the scouts.

We are having our first 'practice' today - I hope they remember their gloves, they have 4 months of gossip to catch up on. However, we still have one kid in the playoffs

Are and your fellow blues are not a "team" competing in these events. You should blend into the game such that no one on the field or in the stands should even remember your were there. Your need for public attention on this board calls that goal into question from the start. But I wish you luck this weekend in finding the public adulation that you so clearly desire.

Me and my fellow blues most certainly are a team, stalker person.

Furthermore, the competition is not these events.. its the evals, testing, extra educations, recommendations of trainers, *blech* coaches, athletic directors, UICs, etc etc in getting TO the post season NFHS events.
