While you 95 Travelers and Glory fans are patting each other on the back, don't forget that the 95 RR Blaze is coming your way for the HOF. Although they will be missing one of their best players due to Memorial Weekend commitments who is one of their catchers that hits from the left side second in the lineup, they will have the rest of their extremely strong bunch together and they did beat the 95 Travelers quite easily in the Bomber Shootout. (Yes, I know it was early in the season, and yes I've heard that the 95 Travelers came all the way to New Braunfels from the DFW area just to practice, but a "W" is a "W"). No doubt that the overall quality of North Texas fastpitch softball is much better than Central Texas, but this 95 RR Blaze team is for real. Just ask any Central Texas 14U team.

IF Glory=Travelers.......North Texas your in trouble. Travelers looked like.......(I'll leave the rest out for any kidos reading).......not very strong.....even if they were "practicing", "rusty", "4-5 hour drive".....whatever.....forget Blaze whooped that!!! They didn't look like they could have beat'n the Top 12u teams in the 12u divison at the Bombers Tournament.
So what you guys beat each other up, parents throwing down.......what makes those teams the front runners.....Ok Glory has a rep.....but its been awhile......Travelers.......WHO HAVE YOU REALLY BEAT'N???? Counting the Blaze in this Best Teams in the State......you guys are 1-2
And y'all haven't seen the Houston Teams or other South/Central teams...............Its easy to say the Freeze Blue is the best in the State.......we haven't lost to y'all!!!

Y'all are the team the beat cause y'all put the bulls eye on yourself!!! Will y'all disappear if Glory and/or Travelers don't finish in the Top 3???? Will ya.....or will you make a excuse about weather, umpires, draw, time of the month......That's what's great about this board.....the excuses y'all make for yourselves and your kids.........Glory beat Travelers when it counted.....and that's what matters......nobody will remember if Japan beats USA in pool play if UUSA beats Japam in the Bronze Medal Game.

I agree with yplayAwhenucanplayB on a couple of things.1st ,Glory beat Travelers when it counted and the folks from the north havent played all the teams from Houston and Central Tx. What I dont agree with is that these 2 teams are beating up on each other. It is only one team full of parents and/or fans (all the Traveler gang ) beating up on 95 glory .Bashing these glory girls coach, parents and even some of the girls!!You all should be ashamed of the things that you all have said about this group that play and love the game with great passion. This Glory group have been around for alot longer than this tt gang and have made a great reputation for themselves. They are winners!!!!! Saying they have cheated their way to a winning traditon is not only undercutting the talent on this team and the coaches but every td ,umpire and any body else that controles the game of any tournament they have played in. All of this name calling,bashing started on May 12 after glory played travelers!!!! If you tt people are so hungry to be the only top 12u team and cant stand that Glory has gotten so much praise________then you need to remember ,"what goes around comes around".And if you want to talk about the old man that stormed your dugout tell both sides--- about one of the tt coaches barging into the glory dugout confronting a glory girl!!!!havent seen this on here cause its a one sided gossip!!!

It's truley sad to see a bunch of adults on here bad mouthing the Glory when everyone obviously does not know the whole story. Do you really want to see this team of girls fail so badly that you continue to put them down.

I didn't see everyone putting them down when they brought the national title home to Texas which was only the second time in Texas history for an ASA "A" Title. I remember everyone on the VTD praising the coaches and players.

I was witness to the whole thing and I can honestly say that it was two sided so don't think that either team deserves praise. I chose not to talk about what I saw because I don't know all the issues. I will say that the Travelers were just as bad with their actions but no one bashes them because they have not been on top as long. Just wait Travelers because it will come to you soon since you are a very strong and talented team and when the jelousy hits in your direction, I will be on here defending you and your girls as well.

By the way, what team does not have girls come and go? Teams change, players change, and teams move forward.

I would however, like to see the Travelers head coach or coaches and the Glory coach or coaches on here to settle these issues instead of letting everyone continue to beat each other up. These two teams need to step up and support each other for the sake of the girls and North Texas. Then again, it's their issues and maybe it should stay between them and not the outsiders.

Finally, Good luck to R.R. You may have beaten Travelers at the Bomber's tournament but you haven't seen them since they got their groove together!!!!!!! You may have just put a big X across your back.

One more thing, I won't say anymore except good luck to Glory and Travelers and I hope the best for both teams in the near future.

OK I have to say my peace. The one thing that i can say for sure is that no one was bashing the glory players that i could hear anyway. Its the parents that were acting stupid every time a call didn't go their way you know it's one thing to speak your mind about a call but dont harp on it for every inning after that let it go. And by the way no coach was in the glory dugout get your facts straight one coach was called over there by a glory parent. But was not dogging any players or parents he didn't even know what the whole deal was about. As far as this RR Blaze Team they are a good team lets see what happens at HOF by the way i dont see the Freeze Blue at the HOF are they not playing or are they going somewhere else(WplayA)it sure would be nice to see all the good teams there. Anyway good luck to the Glory & TT teams you both have great teams at this point lets hope it continues.

As for X.....I don't think they or for that matter anyone needs to worry about the Travelers......isn't that team coached by the coaches from the Texas Heat back in the days??? Didn't make a whole lot of noise back in those days.......what's the difference now?? Better players? Didn't Glory, Groove, TPS, Blaze....other TX teams finish ahead of them at Nationals a few years ago. Didn't they need to win a weak Metro just to get in? Is this the same team or majority? If so, why would anyone worry? If anything The Glory has come back to the pack more than the Travelers have gotten to the this "assumed" Elite Level all these Traveler Fans and/or North Texas fans claim their team has reached. HOF......Travelers better pray for a easy draw.....cause they'll look really bad when they fall flat.
