Newport Sharks 18u is going to New Mexico for the 18u Qualifier. None of you know anything about this team, so I will wait until the result. OC Dynasty and San Diego Rowdies apparently are also going to this qualifier May 31-June 1 in Albuquerque, and there are apparently 15 teams in this event including one of the AZ Hotshots teams. Should be a good tournment.

Omigod, I got a single response. I have no retort until the event is over. Renegades are always tough, and Dynasty is always respected. Sharks will have to prove themselves. But, oddly enough, there isn't any board input for 18u teams. There are 66 16u teams entered in SoCal State, and at 43 feet, there by all rights should be about 75 teams in 18u State, but the list isn't posted yet (Give Robert a break.) Don't you think that ,at 43 feet, there would be a lot of college coach attendance at the 18u SoCal State in the LA/OC metro area at Artesia. After all, the 3 openings in the next year in Division 1 and 2 will be taken care of by themselves, and the other 1,000 unfilled college positions in the other 900 schools below the top 50 will be looking for talent? By the way, will you give Sharks their due if they come through?

I know that they have picked up what 2 college players, but, there are teams out there that will be getting at least 5 college players back to play.
