That's what leads me to believe that this is personal for you. how about Good luck to the Sliderz, and good luck to Victory USA, may the best team win. I advise you to take the high road in this matter and just have your team prepared. That's all you can do. Good luck to you guys!!!!

The difference is all these teams signed up for AZ around the same time and they all knew months before that each other was going. Sliders posted a few months back and now Victory is sliding in, I don't think it is right. I am not the only one who does not think this is right because like it was said before a team from Victory pulled out of a NQ once they found out another So Cal team was going to Boston, Victory was probably better than that team but they showed a lot of class.

Just like everything else in this world years ago people had more respect for one another, their was less back stabbing and throat cutting. Sliders got off their A$$ early and paid their money, let them have a run at it. BTW as God as my witness I have nothing to do or ever had one thing to do with the Sliders organization.
If Victory goes and beats Sliders I will lose no sleep, just respect.

This just seems strange to me. Isn't a team travelling from California to somewhere like South Dakota where (I assume) the competition isn't as good as what they have at home somewhat like buying your way through a qualifier?

I know I'm on the east coast and girls here aren't as good as they are on the west coast, so my perspective may be off, but still.....

You obviously do not have a clue about the way things work here in SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, and no it is not that way at all. Start a new thread if you want that answered, completely different point here, and would take way too long to explain. As a matter of fact, it would be best to delete your question. It's absurd!!!!

No Jofus you are right on point!
For years now Ca has been on all the boards crying about the fact they don’t get enough berths.(has some merit but certainly not the amount for all the Bi**hing) They typically in the past do bring stronger teams but times are changing. Money cant buy happiness ,but it sure cant buy poverty but for sure it can buy and ASA berth in another state.

Fire at will gentlemen :o

Jofus,

The problem in California is their are a lot of great teams and very few berths. Their are great teams that do not make it to ASA nationals that could be a top team at nationals. So these teams play year round spend thousand of dollars a year and then they get to a state tourney with 50 or 60 teams and only 3 teams get a berth. Is goes a lot farther than this but I am just giving you the short form of the cliff notes. Their are states out there that put out teams just as good as Cal teams but they don't put as many. So for buying yourself a berth not even close, hard work and determination and a lot of luck that is how you get a berth.

DGAFF, that picture is funny, you made me laugh. That is what is great about America we can both express our opinions and at the end of the day you are kind enough to share your old lady with me. Thanks but no thanks
