numerouno was at the 14 u state tourney cooking tri tip. One of the parents from his team pointed him out. Numerounos team was doing all the cooking at wheatfield,the best tri tip I have ever had. Unfortunately they weren't cooking at winchester because it took forever to get
food over there.

The tourney was very well ran and the umpires weren't to bad. ASA helped us out with a problem and everything turned out great.

Rats I was at Wheatfield too. Didn't have the tritip, but had the tacos.

Some very interesting moments too. Umping was ok. Friday ump had a problem with the corners. Come Saturday morning same blue and the corners were wonderful. Couldn't help but think that he couldn't see well in the dark. Some nice circus momemts in one of our games, but the blues were very professional and handled the situation very well.

Aside from the 2 hour delay, all was good.

Wait, Brookfield, morning, Porto Potty cleanup. That was enough to curly your nose hairs. YIKES!!!

MG did a great job this weekend and loved seeing the 12u girls out there working hard at helping and also at practice.

Thanks hanico they were pretty tasty. I cooked 19 tri-tips, about 80 lbs of Carne Asada something like 60 lbs of chicken, and a boat load of hamburgers and hot dogs. I was behind that grill over 25 hours this weekend but I did get to watch a lot of ball. We will be back out there for the 16U State so come support the snack bar at Wheat field.

Anderson Bat Company was there also with all there new bats. They had a real nice display set up.

Thank you Natalie for the Anderson Bat packaged that you donated to our drawing. One brand new shiny TECHZILLA, an Anderson bat bag, batting gloves, visor and a bunch of stickers. If you would like a Rocketech or a TechZilla look up member AGameGal and she will help you out.

We also raffled off a nice 42" flat screen TV which some lucky college kid won

It was a great weekend out at the state tourney and I myself am guilty of sometimes bashing ASA, but I have to tell you they did a great job this weekend!!!!!

I'm fairly certain that's exactly how I would have pronounced it after my visit to the bar at Duke's Steak House in Hemet!

NumeroUno - With all due respect I must correct you. It was Notorious Sports out there this weekend selling Anderson Bat products.

And I must compliment you on the tournament. It was well run and the aroma from the BBQ was awesome. After 25 hours you are probably sweating bbq smell! Though I didn't have any of your tri-tip, I had the breakfast burrito and it was yummy. It was good to see everyone pitching in and getting 'er done!
