YO is a very talented team iam sure they are not trophy hunting. and for your info all 8th graders are not first year 14s. 96 birthdays that are late in the year are second year. and for the teams at south belt they are all glad the yo girls are not there i have seen them beat alot of them teams so let the other teams battle it out.Dont worry yo is only here for awhile if they were a stay together team texas would have something to worry about. not only texas but all of asa, pgf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have 2-3 combined 2nd year teams (DI and YO, maybe KF) playing against first year 97's and a maybe some 98's). (But there are a couple of stronger 97's there, Hawks, for example). What do these combined teams gain from playing in that type of environment (besides a trophy)? Meanwhile, down the road at South Belt, there is a 14U tourney that looks to have a stronger field. Wouldn't you as a combined 2nd year 14U team be looking to play in a stronger field? I know some of the teams in the stronger field have beaten the combined teams, so is that the reason? Just asking....

Good luck to all...

"Just asking" my ass...

Sounds to me like someone talkin' some trash on HB...

Who cares when and where anyone plays? Take care of your own... and the kids will settle all the rest of it on the dirt...

Well Mark you have managed to stir things up a little. Imagine if the YO stayed together and made a run at it..... They are a great team with a good group of girls. Anythings possible. I'm just saying.....

Sorry Mark, you have a couple of people fooled, but let's keep our relationship the same. you no like me, me no like you.

Just trying to get a laugh. Mark stay on the same team for more than one season? Funny stuff! Keep them coming!

If you pulled out the tourney due to injury, my best wishes to the young ladies that they make a quick recovery.

Joe, nice call. Or should I say, Detective Joe? Case solved!

Good night folks. Off to the hill country in the AM.

Is that the pot calling the kettle black? How many different hats you got in your closet dude? Have fun in 14U playing on a 97 team.

you no like me, me no like you.

Then quit being so two faced when you see me at the park!!!!

I do not know what 3 monkeys problem is.

His dd's team did battle us to a 0-0 tie last weekend in Sugarland. The girl that pitched against us had a really nasty rise ball working that game.

I wonder if the coach knows he has 3 monkeys on his team.

Good day in the hill country!!!

The 14's in this group bring us back to the discussion on teams playing up, but on the flip side.

So what I'm hearing is not only is it bad to play UP, but it is also bad for these girls to play with your own age group.

So were should they play?

All this talk about competition and how it needs to get stronger....but hold on...that's to strong.

Since you did not quote or direct your comments to a specific post I am not sure where your comments were directed. However, since I referenced 1st year 14U and 8th graders I wanted to make sure you understand my point. I was using first year 14U as an example...my point I was trying to project is that there are players that for whatever reason are not in high school playing on a high school team that are playing on YO at this point until the high school season ends. To make it clear...I support YO and what they are doing and have absolutely no issues with them.
