there are no 16U's to play, or at least no 16U teams to play, the 9th graders are playing HS ball. 16U/18U play doesn't even crank up until after the UIL season is over because there aren't any players. Most of the 96's playing club ball in March and April are 8th graders. I bet both glory's (and several others) would prefer to be playing 16U but there is no place to play, so its 14U or not at all.
