Why would a Gold team play in a 14U event? Can you explain the process that you guys went through to become GOLD at 14U.I feel there may other teams that would like to just past 16-18 straight to the GOLD class.Thanks in advance for what I am sure will be a interesting response

As for your comment about the gold designation, looks like to me it is just a name. I think you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. Also, I have seen them play and they have won every tournament they have played in NTX. Seems they at least deserve a little respect.

I just love the chest thumping but did you Einstein's think that maybe they just like the name "TNT Gold" with no inclination to think that they are callnig themselves a gold level team.

DD plays on a solid 98 team mentioned many times on this site. Played 97 Glory Turkoly, 97 Elite, Fireballs, 97 Spuria, 97 DBat Saldivar & TNT Gold. The other teams do not hold a candle to TNT. They destroyed our pitching.

I think you guys are on to something...lol...TNT Gold was the original name that Ole' Bob came up with when he split from his last team. It is just a name for his 97s and 96s team. If he holds the team together through 18u, then the Gold in the name will mean “Gold Team” I presume.

But...SHHHH...Don't tell Taco because he probably thinks team “xxxx blue” means a team that is always sad or team “xxxx green” means they are an enviromentally safe team...probably uses wooden bats.
